Applying for Your Student Visa Easily for MBBS Study in China





One of the most important requirements that you need to have when you choose to study MBBS in China is that you need to apply for your student visa. Sometimes, applying for a student visa for your MBBS study can be a tiring and time-consuming activity. But, you don't need to spend a lot of time just to get the student visa for your MBBS study in China. If you know what to do, you will be able to get your student visa as quickly as possible. 
 

First of all, you have to know that there two types of student visa in China. The first type is X1, which is the student visa used for international students that study MBBS in China for a period of more than 6 months. The second type is X2, which is the student visa used for international students that study in China for a period of less than 6 months. Remember that any type of X student visa does not permit you to work in this country during your stay. It is strictly used for studying in China. For your MBBS study, you need to apply the X1 type of student visa.


The requirements for you to apply for the X1 student visa are your original passport, completed application form, passport-style color photo, a copy and original student visa application of JW202 or JW201 that is approved, and the original and a copy of the admission notice from the university that accepts your application. 


Once you have gathered all the required materials, you can apply for the student visa by going directly to the consulate or Chinese embassy by yourself. Usually, you don't need to set an appointment in order to submit the application to the embassy or consulate, and you can also choose another person on your behalf to submit the application for you.


Regarding the processing time, usually your student visa will be processed for 4 days for regular processing time. However, you can speed up the process and you can get your student visa quicker. However, if you take the rush job application, you need to pay additional processing fees for your visa. The fees can be different in each country, but it is usually $30 for regular processing time, and then an additional $60 for emergency processing, which allows you to get your visa in only 1 day.

Now that you have your student visa, you can go to your chosen university for your China MBBS study without any problem.
